About Zachariah

My Story

A Life Shaped by Service, Wisdom, and an Unshakable Commitment to Southern Kaduna

Zachariah Dauke Suleiman’s story does not begin in the boardrooms where he later advised some of Nigeria’s most important institutions, nor in the lecture halls where he now guides young minds toward their future.
His story begins in the warm, communal rhythms of Southern Kaduna—where values are not taught in classrooms but lived in everyday life.

Growing up in a culture that prizes integrity, hard work, and community, Zachariah learned early that leadership is not defined by titles, but by responsibility. He watched elders settle disputes with wisdom rather than force. He watched farmers work together because survival depended on collective strength. And he saw, in the eyes of the people around him, a yearning for leaders who truly understood them.

These early experiences planted the seed of service in him.

A Journey Through the Oil & Gas Sector

At a young age, Zachariah entered Nigeria’s Oil and Gas industry—a terrain known for its complexity and intensity. Yet, over 34 years, he rose not by cutting corners, but by being the one person colleagues could trust with the toughest tasks.

He became known as the man who read beyond the numbers, who understood that every percentage point and every pipeline decision affected real families, real communities, and real lives.

His steady rise, powered by competence and integrity, positioned him as one of the most respected professionals in his field. But Zachariah always believed that a career should be more than success; it should pave the way for impact.

"Nemo enim ipsam voluptatem quia voluptas sit aspernatur aut odit aut fugit, sed quia consequuntur magni dolores eos qui ratione voluptatemt."

A New Chapter: Scholar, Teacher, Mentor

After retiring from public service, he could have chosen a quiet life. Instead, he walked into a university classroom.

At Philomath University, Abuja, he began shaping young minds, teaching not just economic principles or leadership theory, but the values that shaped him. His students quickly learned that he was not a lecturer who lived in books—he was one who lived his lessons.

Driven by a hunger for deeper impact, Zachariah pursued a PhD in Development Finance at Nasarawa State University.
For him, development is not a buzzword; it is the bridge between where Southern Kaduna is and where it can be.

A Voice That Guides, A Pen That Teaches

As a fellow of multiple prestigious institutes in Nigeria and the UK, Zachariah built a reputation as a leadership coach, motivational speaker, and public intellectual.

His books—
Investment Success and
Preparing for A Happy and Comfortable Life in Retirement
were written not for academics but for everyday people seeking clarity and direction in a difficult economy.
Readers often describe his writing as “truth told with simplicity.”

Through his words, he has helped thousands plan, invest, and live more strategically.

Rooted in Family, Driven by Purpose

Behind the achievements is a man deeply grounded in family.
He is married to Mrs. Martina Zachariah, and together they have been blessed with two sets of twins and grandchildren—a rare grace that Zachariah often describes as “double joy, twice over.”

His family remains his anchor—his reminder that leadership must always put people first.

Why He Stands for Public Office

As the 2027 election approaches, Zachariah’s decision to contest for the Southern Kaduna Senatorial seat is not driven by ambition, but by a calling he can no longer ignore.

He has seen what our communities lack.
He has studied what is possible.
And he has lived a life that proves that competence, humility, and accountability can coexist in leadership.

For him, the Senate is not a destination—it is a tool.
A tool to give Southern Kaduna the voice it deserves.
A tool to translate ideas into laws, budgets, and opportunities.
A tool to unlock the future our people have waited too long for.

A Story Still Being Written

Zachariah believes that every generation must produce leaders who understand both the pain of the past and the promise of the future.
He stands ready to serve, not as a politician seeking office, but as a steward of the hopes of Southern Kaduna.

This is not just his story.
It is the story of every young person looking for opportunity.
Every farmer hoping for better roads.
Every family waiting for true representation.
Every community longing for fairness, unity, and progress.

And together, we will write the next chapter.
